I'm pretty sure somewhere back in high school I never received the memo that once you graduate you either go away to a big time partying University, go to cosmetology school, marry someone in the military or have a baby.
I almost went to Michigan State because of an ex. Everyone always assumed I would go into cosmetology because my mom is a hairstylist and a salon owner, but that's probably the only career that my mom didn't want me to go into. I've never wanted to be a cosmetologist. My mom is fabulous at what she does, but it takes a lot of work to get to where she's at. I wasn't interested in the whole marriage right after high school thing. And I'm way to selfish to have a baby anytime soon.
But don't worry, I have a plan.
When I Grow Up....
I will call this home.

hahaha oh my gosh so funny! I went to cosmetology school and married a military member.. Oops!! Does that make me a cookie cutter high school graduate?
ReplyDeleteI already sent you an e-mail but I wanted to clarify it just incase anyone gets offended by the first few things I said. There isn't anything wrong with any of those things. Most of the people from around here choose to do one of the things I talk about but for all the wrong reasons and that's the only reason I kind of poked fun at it.
DeleteAbsolutely love everything about this.. I moved 10 hours away from home to Michigan because I didn't want to be like everyone else in my hometown. Good for you and your "woman cave"
ReplyDeleteLOL I love this. Both my boys are sassy like me LOVE IT! lol
ReplyDeleteAweee babes. I LOVE this post! Never grow up though! Just get wiser, and follow your dreams, goals, and heart! Stay young forever! Even some of the 'oldest' people I know, have the youngest, most exciting hearts!
