Usually I spend my Sundays at the bar with a bunch of people drinking beer and watching my Lions play. However, Sunday I woke up feeling like a bus hit me, then backed up and ran over me again. My boss and a co-worker begged me to pick up a shift since the one girl was sick and I was the last resort since no one else could pick up the shift. So I'm pretty sure I'm on the shit list for not being able to work, oh well.
I decided to stay on the couch and watch the game while chugging Emergen-C.
I ended up sleeping through most of the game and waking up to a bunch of texts from people asking where I was and why I was skipping out on my usual Sunday Funday activities. I forced myself to get up and get myself a slurpee because I was craving one for a month. I had to get the biggest size, even though I ended up drinking 1/4 of it.
Luckily I was able to go out after class on Saturday. I went to the Cider Mill, did some wine tasting and bought a few bottles.
Then went to Downtown Northville to check out their skeleton decorations and to stop into a bar for too long. I guess it made up for not being able to enjoy my Sunday.
Today I woke up feeling a little better. I was planning on being productive. I got in my truck, turned it on and boom... Well, not literally boom... but, my engine light AND battery light were on. The engine light I'm not as worried about, it's gone on a few times and it's because the gas cap I had to get, since someone stole mine (who steals a gas cap?!), doesn't fit tight enough and apparently will make the light go on. So I had to drive the mustang to get all my crap done. Which obviously I don't mind, I just hate that it's so fast and I can't see over cars in a parking lot. I hate feeling little.
So it looks like I need to clean out my truck so my dad can get it fixed. On top of all the other things on my to-do list. I should probably get started.
Oh man, I hope you feel better soon!! {love the mug} Sleep is the best thing, that's for sure...and the gas cap?! Ugh.
