I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Mine was one of the best I've had in a long time! I was able to spend lots of time with family and David. I'll apologize in advance for the quality of my photos. We took them on iPhones & iPads. Ooops. Blogger fail. Christmas Eve I had to work 8am-4pm. Then every year my sister and my niece come over. However, this year was a little different. My brother hasn't had any communication with my parents and I for about 4 years, with the exception of him coming over to my sister's house for an hour when I stayed the night last February. Dating someone new means that you're going to meet a bunch of people you've never met. I'm just oh so lucky that David has a million friends and I'm constantly stuck in awkward situations where I know absolutely no one except him.  Usually, I'm introduced to everyone. I try so hard to remember the names of the people I just met 3 seconds ago. Then there's the uncomfortable small talk. This is usually the point when I sip my drink a little quicker than usual. Then comes random stories about my boyfriend that I probably didn't want to hear. This is usually the point that I'm secretly wishing someone would order shots. Somewhere after all of this comes the question, "So, how did you guys meet?" This is the point that David and I look at each other, laugh and decide who's going to answer the question. Usually I let him answer. His answer is always the same... "candy crush!"  People laugh, unsure if it's a joke or if we real...

I confess... ...This is the THIRD time I shattered my iPhone in just barely over a month. I'm pretty sure that the place I've been getting it fixed at replaces the screen with cheap screens. Monday night I clapped when Nate came out onto the field then when Reggie Bush came out and BAM.. my phone shattered in my hand. ...I haven't even started Christmas shopping. I haven't had time. To say I'm stressed about it would be a total understatement. ...I had the most amazing bloody mary at the lions game Monday night. $12 well spent. Wish I would of kept the glass. ...Fall quarter completely stressed me out. I worried about all of my classes a few times. Today I checked my final grades and found out I made the dean's list. ...I am absolutely over Michigan. I don't mind the summer here, but I can't deal with the fall or winter. ...Even though my truck has 4wheel drive, I hate driving in the snow. I always see people posting on Facebook about ...

After my week of finals plus 46 hours of work..I'm getting ready to head downtown to go fully enjoy my Lions win! I'm far too excited! Today is also my dad's birthday. The other day Lion's wide receiver, Nate Burleson was hanging out at my work. So I had him sign a photo for my dad. I do have a very full week of work, but I'll have much more time to blog. I've been so crazy with two jobs and school. This week I have finals, 12 hours of lectures, study time and I'm working 36+ hours. I have been able to spend lots of time with my guy. So even though I'm completely exhausted, I'm completely happy. Friday I had 2 presentations, class 1-5 then worked 6-9. Saturday I had class 9am-12:30 then worked 1-4. Then David took me to the Wings game! Yup, there you go.. the first picture of my man and I. I have a few others from the game that I'll probably share later this week. I'm not even a huge fan of how I look in this picture but I love it too much.   After we went to his friend's house to watch the end of the State game. Which was pretty interesting considering that's where we met years back. Sunday I had a work meeting at the bar at 9:30am then had to go straight to my other job to work 12-7.
