I know that this is my second post of the day..
I’m sure there’s some unwritten blogging rule against that
But, look at how much I don’t care..
I’ve mentioned a million times Lucas and I are going to Nashville at the end of April.
We had planned to do a half marathon..
But, after getting one of the girls from work on board
(Since she’s moving to Nashville in a few days.. WAH)
We have all decided that we are insane to think we can be ready for 13 miles..
We’re going to do the mini marathon..
In all honesty, I used the half marathon as an excuse to go to Nashville.
Plus it’s for St. Jude Children’s Hospital
Now, I don’t feel pressured to get fit.
I will let you all know that I have been working out daily!!
I have also been eating great!
Except yesterday I decided to have 5 pizza rolls…
Karma did a great job because I burnt the roof of my mouth..
Actually, I burnt it so bad I had burn blisters.. awesome.
I have had a bit of an issue with working out though..
I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned I hurt my back when I was 15
(because I was an idiot and got too star struck at a concert..)
I still have issues with my lower back because of it..
Often the pain will go down to my legs and it’s almost unbearable
But considering 5 years ago I was too stubborn to go to the hospital..
I’m still too stubborn to bring it up to my doctor.
However, that’s not the issue…
I’m almost positive I have a pinched nerve in my upper back.
Under my shoulder blade. And, it’s not fun!
I actually might go get a deep tissue massage tomorrow morning.
My mom had one and they sent her to physical therapy and she said it made it worst.
She went to a chiropractor and within a week it was completely better..
I’m so desperate at this point.
I’ve learned to tolerate the pain of my lower back..
But I want this pain gone.
Have you ever had a pinched nerve? What do you recommend?
Guess what, wonderful readers of mine?
I get all day and all tomorrow with my love!
I’m so excited!!
Hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday!!!
Oh.. and two pictures I took from my boss’ phone.
From St. Patrick’s Day!
I have severe thoracic scoliosis. Try a chiropractor. Does wonders
ReplyDeleteHope your back feels better! I hurt mine during my senior year of cheerleading. So not fun! Have a great time with your love!
ReplyDeletei second the chiropractor. i hurt my back in high school track. nothing worked but the chiro!
ReplyDeleteI know you posted this awhile ago but when I'm bored I like to go back and read old blogs. Anyway...sounds like your sciatic nerve. It will continue to hurt. You def need a chiropractor or a doctor. That's the longest nerve in your body and it controls your leg, hip, foot and toes. Kind of a big deal! Hope it feels better soon.
