Breaking the rules

I know that this is my second post of the day..
I’m sure there’s some unwritten blogging rule against that
But, look at how much I don’t care..

I’ve mentioned a million times Lucas and I are going to Nashville at the end of April.
We had planned to do a half marathon..
But, after getting one of the girls from work on board
(Since she’s moving to Nashville in a few days.. WAH)
We have all decided that we are insane to think we can be ready for 13 miles..
We’re going to do the mini marathon..
In all honesty, I used the half marathon as an excuse to go to Nashville.
Plus it’s for St. Jude Children’s Hospital

Now, I don’t feel pressured to get fit.
I will let you all know that I have been working out daily!!
I have also been eating great!

Except yesterday I decided to have 5 pizza rolls…
Karma did a great job because I burnt the roof of my mouth..
Actually, I burnt it so bad I had burn blisters.. awesome.

I have had a bit of an issue with working out though..
I’m not sure if I’ve ever mentioned I hurt my back when I was 15
(because I was an idiot and got too star struck at a concert..)
I still have issues with my lower back because of it..
Often the pain will go down to my legs and it’s almost unbearable
But considering 5 years ago I was too stubborn to go to the hospital..
I’m still too stubborn to bring it up to my doctor.

However, that’s not the issue…

I’m almost positive I have a pinched nerve in my upper back.
Under my shoulder blade. And, it’s not fun!
I actually might go get a deep tissue massage tomorrow morning.
My mom had one and they sent her to physical therapy and she said it made it worst.
She went to a chiropractor and within a week it was completely better..
I’m so desperate at this point.
I’ve learned to tolerate the pain of my lower back..
But I want this pain gone.
Have you ever had a pinched nerve? What do you recommend?

Guess what, wonderful readers of mine?
I get all day and all tomorrow with my love!
I’m so excited!!

Hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday!!!

Oh.. and two pictures I took from my boss’ phone.
From St. Patrick’s Day!

  4. I know you posted this awhile ago but when I'm bored I like to go back and read old blogs. Anyway...sounds like your sciatic nerve. It will continue to hurt. You def need a chiropractor or a doctor. That's the longest nerve in your body and it controls your leg, hip, foot and toes. Kind of a big deal! Hope it feels better soon.

You can’t blog with us!

I’m not digging all of these big shot bloggers trying to make these rules for blogging. I have read posts about how not everyone should have a blog. If you’re not a big shot blogger, like myself.. this post is for you. If you are a big shot blogger, this post is also for you.. but, none of you will read this. These are just some of the rules that I don’t follow.. Your blog will be judged by it’s cover. Have a perfect layout. If spending $100 to have some make a layout for my blog means you’ll read my blog and you’ll follow me.. then I don’t give a damn if you’re not following me. Respond to all comments left on your blog. It is important to respond to comments.. however, I do understand why people can’t always respond. Personally.. if you ask me something I most likely will respond. A lot of the time I get comments that pretty much all I can say is “Thank you!” to.. I mean.. I’ll absolutely always respond if you e-mail me.. or even if you comment on instagram.. I respond almost inst...

Friday’s Letters!

Dear Pictures Of Myself, Why do you always look so bad? And, no.. I am not saying I’m ugly or any of that.. so please, don’t jump down my throat about that. But you know how some girls look 100 times better in their photos than in real life? Well, that’s not me.. and people have had no issue telling me that. Which, I guess is better.. unless you only see photos of me.. ehh, whatever. Dear Blog, I will be spending some time on you today. Planning some posts, commenting on some of my favorite blogs.. all of that stuff good bloggers do. Dear Friday, I’m so glad to be seeing you! Next Friday I will be enjoying Chicago for the very first time at the Keane concert with the love of my life! I need to make you a very productive day.. since Thursday was anything but productive. Dear Lucas Blaze, Thank you so much for planning on booking our room today after you get out of work around 7am… You’re the best. Last weekend was so amazing. I love all of our fun little dates. Dear Dark Hair, ...

How To Be A Fashion Blogger

From a non-fashion blogger. First. You’re going to find pants, a few shirts and any jewelry you can manage to find. Anything goes. Second. You must make your hair look like a character Dr. Seuss would create. Third. Get all awkward, set up your camera and be a little fashion trend setter! Make sure to include a tiny bit of your face. It adds to the overall quality of the photo. You also want to edit your photo, a LOT. This is not for Facebook. It’s for your FASHION BLOG.   Hold your waist to make it look like you’re so skinny you’re going to break… … Or whatever the reason that they do that pose..   A photo like this will show off a different angle of your outfit. You can tell your readers it was an accidental photo as you were leaving the house. Make them believe that this is what you wear to take the kids to school/walk the dog.   When wearing designer clothing ALWAYS show a proof picture of the label. Also, if you wear a size XS you also have to show a pi...
