Lately, I’ve noticed many bloggers talking about blogging being a popularity contest or blogging cliques.
I do agree with the fact that there are bloggers have have their little cliques. I also agree that there have been plenty of times that I felt like I was right back in high school, rolling my eyes at the “popular girls”. I’ve made a post about “big shot bloggers” and their rules I still agree with that post 100%. I was never popular in High School. All of my friends were older. I had stupid boyfriends and I really just couldn’t stand girls enough to find a “clique”.
I didn’t start a blog to try and feel popular or to boost my self confidence. When I started a blog I didn’t know there was a blogging community. I didn’t know I’d meet so many amazing girls. Once I realized this, it didn’t change how I felt about blogging. I didn’t quit my job when I realized you can actually make money from blogging just by reviewing something a company will send to you or whatever. I didn’t make a blog thinking that I would have the time to post every single day.

I started a blog because I wanted a place to write. I wanted to be able to share things going on in my life.
I wanted a place to just simply write whatever I want to. Whenever I wanted to.
I don’t really care if my layout sucks, it does. I gave up on contacting blog designers who are too busy.
I’m not losing sleep over not having a million followers. I’m AMAZED by the amount of followers I have.
I put life, school and work before blogging. You should too.
Never will I ever think that I am a blogger that is better than a blogger with 2 followers. I promise you that.
I’ve never judged a blog by how many followers they have or how often they post. If I like your blog, I like your blog.
I do the best I can to keep up with my blog. I know that I slack often.
If you’re a new follower or you’ve followed me for a while I want you to know that if you need anything at all, please contact me. Don’t be scared to e-mail me just to talk. Always feel free to ask me absolutely anything. Even if it’s not blogging related. I’m always willing to email back and forth, text, facebook chat.. whatever is easier for you. I know what it’s like to just need someone to talk to.
Also, don’t ever question yourself about contacting me about something blogging related. I’ve had bloggers contact me about free ad space, joining their giveaway, linking up, mentioning their blog or shop in a blog post.. whatever it is, just contact me. I promise I won’t ever think I’m too good to help you out.
I’m not sure why the amount of followers change some people. It’s weird to me. Although there are some bloggers who let their followers go to their head.. there are plenty amazing bloggers who never will.

I know I’m really great at slacking. I know I can really suck at commenting on blogs I read. I need to get better. I have a lot going on with school and work. I go to school in the morning and work at night. So, sometimes when it comes to sleep or blogging I pick sleep. That’s okay. I never claimed to be an amazing blogger. I just enjoy blogging when I can. Truly enjoy it. I don’t ever want blogging to seem like a second job. It’s a hobby to me.
But, I hope that you all know I absolutely love meeting new bloggers. If I’m not following your blog and you want me to stop by/follow, please don’t hesitate to bring that to my attention. Always feel free to leave me a comment with your link. You can even e-mail me about it.
Blogging to me is an amazing opportunity to connect with people I can relate to. I enjoy my blogging friends more than most people I know in real life. Sad? Maybe.. but, I’m just being honest. Any of you that are reading this are truly amazing. I could never tell you that enough. I hope that none of you ever feel like you need to change anything about your blog to “fit in”.. don’t fit in. Be yourself. Blog when you have time. Enjoy blogging.
